Environmental Water Monitoring is the Australian agent for the Liquitech Copper Silver Ionisation System. The Process uses a copper silver ionisation system to control and eradicate microbial populations in water systems in buildings.

The system has been extensively studied* in the laboratory and in situ and is in use in over 1000 installations worldwide. The Process will gain complete control of waterborne pathogens including Legionella within days and maintain that control. It is more effective in controlling microorganisms than other methods currently in use such as Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, Ultraviolet Light and Thermal Shock Treatment and does not have any toxic by-products. It is guaranteed to work.

Liquitech Equipment

The Liquitech Ionisation System consists of four main components, a Control Unit, a Flow Cell, a Flow Meter and a remote engineer management system (REMS).

Control Unit

The Control Unit is programmed to control current output levels which directly relates to the amount of copper and silver ions released in the water. The control can be set for various conditions, to operate at specific intervals or from remote inputs or sources such as flow meters or a copper analyser.

Flow Cell

The flow cell houses the copper/silver electrodes. The housing is fabricated from high temperature, high pressure schedule 80 CPVC. The flow cells are supplied with quick-connect stainless steel clamps for ease of installation.

Flow Meter

The flow meter measures the amount of makeup water entering the system and by a “closed-loop proportional control” process, the control unit will automatically produce precise levels of copper and silver ions. The flow meter can be installed in the cold water supply line or the hot water delivery line whichever is more practical.

Remote engineer Management System

A supervisory control system through the internet is available  to monitor such parameters as real time display and alarms, system diagnostics, system configuration, remote data logging and all control function adjustments.
